The POS Button Layout form controls the buttons at the bottom of the POS screen. Use this form to set the visibility and placement of buttons such as Refund, Swap, and Receipt.
POS buttons are available on three screens:
- Main Selling Screen (tickets or concessions) - a maximum of 48 buttons can be defined
- Alternative Ticket Screen
- Payment Screen
After a POS Button Layout has been configured, it can be applied to Workstations. This setup is optional. If no POS Button Layout is defined, POS will operate with Vista's standard button layout.
You can set buttons that aren't relevant as invisible so that they don't display on POS. For example: If the Cinema doesn't sell Group tickets, configure the Group button as invisible.
Note: Not all buttons can be disabled, and there are restrictions on the placement of certain buttons.
Configure the layout of your POS workstations using the POS Button Layout form in Cinema Manager > Maintenance.

The number in the Position field corresponds to the Button Position Map, indicating where the Button will be located. An error message will appear if there are any overlaps in position sequence. |

If the Position field has been edited for any number of Buttons, clicking the Reorder button will reorder the buttons to display in the Available Buttons table in ascending numerical sequence, based on their position value. All buttons configured as Visible are displayed in numerical order first, followed by all buttons configured as Invisible in numerical order. |
