The Voucher Inquiry POS button lets a POS operator enter a barcode and receive a summary of the corresponding voucher's history, which can then be printed at POS.
If your organisation employs multi-use vouchers (vouchers that can be redeemed more than once for a ticket), it may be useful to let customers check how many admits are remaining on the voucher. This functionality can also be used to view the history of single-use vouchers.
For example: For a multi-use voucher allowing 15 adult admits, it would be easy for the customer to lose track of how many they have used. Or, if a customer tries to redeem a single-use voucher but is has already been redeemed, you can check when and where the voucher was redeemed.
Steps
- In POS, tap More > Voucher Inquiry.
- Enter or scan the voucher barcode in the Enter Barcode form.
- The Voucher Inquiry form displays voucher details.
An error message appears for an invalid voucher. You can tap Voucher Inquiry to view the patron's voucher usage information.
The Voucher Inquiry form displays voucher's status and expiry, as well as the date, location, film, session time, sales channel, type and value of transactions made with the voucher.
