Controlling your stocktake's closing date

You can control your stocktake's closing date to be more strict or more flexible when you manually create a stocktake.

To adopt the behaviour of the following examples, adjust Cinema Manager's system settings to match the values listed:

Closing date defaults to the start of the next business day and can't be changed

• EnableStocktakeEntryNowButton=N
• StockCountUsesDefaultDate=Y
• StockCountAllowForwardDate=Y
• AlterStockTransDate=N

Closing date defaults to the current date and can't be changed to a future date

• EnableStocktakeEntryNowButton=Y
• StockCountUsesDefaultDate=N
• StockCountAllowForwardDate=N
• AlterStockTransDate=Y

Any closing date can be used, but the default closing date is the current date and time

• EnableStocktakeEntryNowButton=Y
• StockCountUsesDefaultDate=N
• StockCountAllowForwardDate=Y
• AlterStockTransDate=Y

Note: These settings do not affect the date for stocktakes created automatically in Day End mode by the Close Day process.
