If you need to return funds to a customer, you must process the refund in Vista Payments. Depending on the payment method, refunds can take up to 40 days.
Important! A processing fee applies for each refund.
Steps
- Go to Vista Payments > Transactions.
- From the list of transactions, select the transaction you want to refund.
- In the transaction details window, select Refund payment.
- Confirm the refund details. You can choose to refund the full amount or a partial amount.
- Select Refund.
The transaction type will update to Refund. To view refunded transactions easily, use the filter Type > Refund.
Note: Refunded transactions receive a unique Refund PSP Reference number. To find it, open the transaction and view its details.
