Sometimes you might want to award points or recognitions to Loyalty members without sending them a communication. You can do this in Movio EQ without having to open Vista's Loyalty.
Note: If you've previously used Movio Classic, you'll know this concept as a 'silent campaign'.
For example, you could send a standard campaign at the beginning of the month offering 100 points to members who watch four films within the month. Then, at the end of the month, create a 'silent' campaign to award the points to the members who met the criteria of the offer.
Creating a 'silent' campaign
Follow the instructions to create a standard campaign, except:
-
On the Details tab, set Send mode to Silent, and configure the Rewards section.
- You can select whether to apply the rewards to contactable moviegoers only, or all recipients of the campaign.
Note: URL parameters are hidden because they're not relevant for 'silent' campaigns. -
On the Audience tab, define the audience you want to apply the rewards to.
- In the example above, you could use the filters Campaign received and Purchased session to target the people who had received your promotional campaign and watched four films in the last month.
Note: The sidebar will still show the number of contactable moviegoers in your audience, but none of these will receive a communication, only the Loyalty rewards. -
On the Deploy tab, check the campaign details are correct, and click Send.
- At the time you scheduled, the Loyalty rewards are applied to the audience you defined without sending them a communication.
Note: Because this is a 'silent' campaign, which doesn't have open or click rates, you won't see the standard delivery scorecards on this page.
Other things to be aware of
- Wherever 'silent' campaigns appear in a list, you'll see a muted-speaker icon (a speaker with an 'x').
- If a 'silent' campaign appears under Recent campaigns on the EQ home page, you'll see '0' in the Messages column.
