When uploading contacts into a contact list, you might encounter that a number of contacts have been identified as invalid.

Why is a contact marked as invalid?
A contact is identified as invalid if the email address is deemed improper to communicate with. In the majority of cases, this means that the email address is unreachable, for example, if the email has a syntax error.
This validation is useful as it will safeguard your deliverability reputation by avoiding the send out of emails to invalid emails addresses.
What defines a contact to be invalid?
A contact's email address is invalid if one of the following occurs:
- Invalid email: email addresses having an incorrect syntax, e.g. memberXYZ@@cinemaabc.com
- Known bad domain: email addresses using non-existent domain, e.g. memberXYZ@gogle.com
- Corporate email: email addresses associated with a corporate entity, e.g. info@company.com
What types of email addresses are considered corporate?
Any email with the below prefix:
- info@...
- jobs@...
- sales@...
- abuse@...
- service@...
- contact@...
- postmaster@...
- customerservice@...
