Why does my new cinema not show up in Group Builder?
Please ensure the following has been configured for the particular cinema in Vista Loyalty:
- Site, Cinema Type and Cinema Operator: please follow the Loyalty User Guide specific to your Vista Loyalty version
- Timezone: available in the Loyalty configuration menu
In addition to the above, the cinema will only be imported by Movio if there are transactions associated to this cinema, or alternatively, if members reference the cinema in their profile (e.g. favorite cinema).
How to create the Timezone record?
You can access the Timezone menu in the Configuration section in Loyalty.
The timezones must be entered in the Name fields, using a TZ database name available in the tz database. Movio ignores the remaining field values in the Timezone setup.
After creating the Timezone record, open the respective Site record and select the Timezone you created.
Why is the Timezone of the cinema location needed?
Movio is timezone aware and makes many calculations and adjustments based on the timezones of your cinema locations, members and the Vista Loyalty server. Each cinema must have a timezone loaded against it.
Why does a cinema name change in Vista not get updated in Movio?
When the name of a cinema is changed in Vista Loyalty, Movio will automatically update the cinema name once there is a new transaction associated with this cinema.
