A model is a collection of comp title designed to represent a similar audience for a movie that has not yet been released. In other words, it creates lookalike target audiences based on Movio's Similarity Algorithm™ that can be used to promote movies that are 'Coming Soon'.
Audience Insights allows you to save your list of comp titles as models for future reference or reuse. To manage your models:
- Go to the Movie Insights homepage
- Search for a model by clicking on ‘Select’ under the ‘Use existing model’ header
- In the pop-up page, enter the name of the model that you want to search using the search bar
- Edit a model by clicking on the pencil icon to the right of the model name
- Archive a model by clicking on the file icon to the right of the model name
- Click on the model to display the audience in the propensity chart
- Un-archive a model by clicking on the ‘Archived Models’ tab, finding your model, and clicking on the file tab to unarchive it. You can now edit this model
- You cannot edit a model once it has been used in an executed campaign
Let’s go through the following example by creating a model for Fast & Furious using comp titles:
- Click on ‘Create Model’ and enter your model name, e.g. Fast & Furious Model
- Enter your target movie, e.g. Fast & Furious as your target movie
- Add your comp titles that are similar to the movie titles suggested, e.g. The Fate of the Furious, Transformers: The Last Night, Furious 7, etc.
- Click ‘Create Model’
The model will populate in your Audience Insights propensity chart and displays the percentage of members who are most likely to watch the Fast & Furious Sequel.
