Visit
A Visit is a collection of all the transactions a moviegoer makes for a particular date. For example:
- If Michelle purchases a ticket on Monday to the Friday session of Star Wars, and then buys popcorn and coke in cinema on Friday, this is bundled together as one visit
- If Sebastian purchases two tickets and two popcorns for a session starting in 20 minutes, this is one visit
Visits Key Metrics
This displays the visitation rate and unique visitation rate, and the spend, box office, concession, other*, and admissions per visit. This is measured against the average of your campaigns from the past 12 months and displays the difference as a percentage.*Other can include merchandise, movie posters, special edition cups etc
Uplift
This displays the measured uplift for your campaign and the metrics used to calculate this. This tile will only be displayed if you have used a control group in your campaign. You can read more about the importance of control groups and why you should use them in this chapter or in our blog.
Visits by date
This compares the number of visits between your target and control group for the reporting period and future dates.
Age
This displays the breakdown of age between your control group and target group for your visiting members.
Ticket types
This displays the breakdown of ticket types between your control group and target group for your visiting members.
Totals
This compares the visits and admissions between your target and control group and shows a revenue breakdown for each group.
