Lumos configuration
For Lumos sales channels, ensure media is added to the INFINITY VISION attribute.
By default, INFINITY VISION will display as a standard attribute. It can also be configured to display as a promoted or hero attribute.
- Promoted Attributes appear at the top of the showtime tile and are used to highlight special offers or key selling points. Only one promoted attribute can be shown per showtime.
- Hero Attributes are displayed on the right-hand side of the showtime tile with a colored background.
For more details on how to configure hero and promoted attributes in Lumos, see Using attributes in Lumos.
Verify the showtime in Lumos Web
- Allow time for the changes to synchronise with Lumos Web.
- Open the cinema schedule in Lumos Web.
- Navigate to the date containing the updated showtime.
- Locate the showtime and confirm that INFINITY VISION is displayed.
Confirm the customer booking experience
- Verify that the showtime displays both the INFINITY VISION attribute and any other applicable attributes, such as English.
- Confirm that enabling Promote causes INFINITY VISION to be displayed on applicable showtime listings.
- Continue through the standard ticket purchasing workflow.
- Complete a test booking if required.
Notes:
Inherit to sessions must be enabled. Without it, the attribute will not be automatically applied to showtimes.
Make the attribute available on all sales channels if it must appear consistently across web and other booking experiences.
Allow sufficient time for synchronisation before validating changes in Lumos.
Ensure the showtime is assigned the INFINITY VISION format. The attribute will not display correctly if a different format is selected.
After you finish
Confirm the attribute displays correctly in both Showtime Manager and Lumos before rolling the configuration out to additional cinemas or showtimes.
