When a screen is closed for construction or otherwise unavailable for sessions, you can hide it in Showtime Manager. This helps you focus on active screens and avoid programming sessions on inactive screens.
Marking screens as inactive
You can mark screens as inactive in either Head Office or Cinema Manager.
-
In Head Office, go to Maintenance > Screens.
In Cinema Manager, go to Maintenance > Screens (web page).
- Open the relevant screen.
- In the Scheduling tab, clear the Active for scheduling setting.
- Click Save.
- If you updated the setting in Head Office, wait for the change to be downloaded to Cinema Manager.
Hiding inactive screens
-
In Film Manager or Cinema Manager, go to Showtime Manager.
Inactive screens display an Inactive icon.
- Open Settings.
- On the Showtime Manager page, enable Hide inactive screens.
- Click Save.
Your inactive screens are now hidden from view. You can disable Hide inactive screens to reveal them again.
