Data types
General
Data | Description |
Admits | The number of tickets sold to sessions. This includes complimentary tickets and swaps, but excludes refunded and voided tickets. |
Average ticket price (ATP) | The average ticket price over a selected period. |
Box office |
Business activity related to ticket sales, excluding the sale of concessions or sundry items. In Horizon, this term usually refers to Box office revenue. Lifetime Box office revenue refers to the total cumulative revenue generated by a single film from when sales opened until the present. |
Circuit share | Percentage of total Box Office revenue generated by a specific site /location within its circuit. |
Club | The loyalty scheme that members join to gain rewards. |
Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) | The money your business spends to supply products for your customers. |
Comp | A discount, ticket, or item given free of charge. |
Concession item |
An item of food and beverage, or merchandise, that can be added to an order. Excludes sundry items. Note: In Oneview, the term Food and beverage covers all concession items. |
Item | Any object that can be added to an order, excluding tickets. |
Market share |
Percentage of total Box Office revenue for your circuit in the relevant Numero territory. |
Members |
The individuals participating in your loyalty scheme. |
Labour hours |
Total paid staff hours. |
Level | Loyalty levels distinguish different ranks of memberships within the same club, using a chosen measure (for example: points balance). |
Occupancy | The ratio of admits to total capacity for a particular cinema, screen, or session, usually expressed as a percentage. |
Planned sessions |
The total number of sessions scheduled for a film in the future with recorded sales. This includes any open, closed, and cancelled sessions, but excludes private hire sessions. |
Potential |
The number of potential moviegoers from amongst your loyalty members, based on Movio's propensity algorithm. Note: Available with Movio EQ. |
Presales |
The number of tickets generated from sales prior to the initial release of a film. Includes advanced screenings, exludes private hires. Lifetime presales refers to the total cumulative presales until now or the time and date of release (whichever is earlier). |
Revenue | The income received from sales over a specific period of time. |
Sale | The exchange of goods for payment. |
Session | The presentation of a film in a specific screen, on a specific date, and at a specific time. |
Sessions selling out |
The number of sessons currently available for ticket sales that have reached a minimum of 75% occupancy. Note: Includes any open, closed, and cancelled sessions with sales. Excludes private-hire sessions. |

Spend per admit (SPA) | The average amount each ticket holder spent on concessions. |
Strike rate | The ratio of the number of transactions containing tickets to the number of transactions containing concession items. |
Sundry item | Any item defined as Box Office Sundry in your inventory management system. This excludes tickets and concessions, but typically includes voucher sales and booking fees. |
Ticket | A paper or electronic document authorising that a patron can attend a session. |
Transaction | A sales event during which goods are bought or sold. |
Voucher | A token that entitles the holder to a discount, or that the holder can use in exchange for a ticket or concession payment. |
Member data
Note: In Oneview, this data is only available with Movio EQ. In Horizon, only CLV and Churn require Movio EQ.

Active |
A member who has completed a transaction in the last 365 days (Oneview) or Horizon definition |
New active |
A member who joined the loyalty scheme and also completed a transaction. Includes any members who meet this criteria in the last 28 days. |
Churned |
A member who has not completed a transaction in the last 365 days, but who had previously been active. Includes any members who meet this criteria in the last 28 days. In Oneview, churn forecasts span three months. |
Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) |
Total revenue generated by an individual during their time as a member in your loyalty scheme. In Oneview, CLV forecasts span three months. So Average CLV represents the median amount of revenue expected from the 50% of your members over the next three months. |
Reactivated |
A member who was previously categorised as churned, but who has now transacted in the last 28 days. |
Non-contactable | An active member who has opted out of being contactable. Calculated on the last day of the month available, or the last day of the current month. |

The parameters that determine what data is shown in Oneview. Usually a site/location or date range (for example: today, yesterday, this week, and this weekend). |
Benchmark |
The parameters that determine the reference points for comparisons throughout Oneview. Baseline data can be compared with alternative date ranges, sites/locations, and site budgets. Note: Films are always benchmarked against their performance the previous week. |
Today vs last week | Compares the values from today with values from the same day last week. |
Current week vs last week |
Compares the values from this week to last week. |
This week last year | Compares the values from this week to the values in the same week business week last year. |
