Running a points-based programme example

You may want to create a programme that lets Loyalty members earn points when they buy tickets or concessions. In this example, members earn points as follows:

• Tickets - Get 10 points for any ticket type
• Concessions - Get 1 point for every $1 spend

To set this up, you'll need to:

• Create a balance type to track member points
• Create a balance type to track Box Office points

  Note: This balance type will track points earned from Box Office and add them to the master balance type. This makes it easy to configure for points that are earned differently to tickets. For example, you could have a points scheme based on the number of tickets rather than the dollar amount.
