The Staff times maintenance form in Head Office and Cinema Manager displays data from Time Clock and lets you manage and approve your staff's clock on and clock off information.
Managers can adjust any incorrect time details. For example, a staff member might:
- tap Clock On with the wrong Cinema, Work Area or Shift;
- forget to Clock On, and accidentally works an hour before clocking on;
- forget to Clock Off before they leave.
If no corrections are required, records can be approved.
Important! Manually editing Staff time records can have unintended consequences. We recommend following the Overtime recommended practice guidelines.

Pay Rate |
Standard Rate Daily Overtime Rate 1-4 Weekly Overtime Rate 1-4 Consecutive Day Overtime 1-4 |
A Staff Time record can be associated with Standard and/or Overtime Pay Rates. The Standard Rate applies until such time as each Daily Overtime, Weekly Overtime, or Consecutive Day Overtime threshold is reached. Once a threshold is reached, the Pay Rate associated with the threshold comes into effect. Overtime thresholds are defined in Staff Time Breakdown Configuration. The number of overtime rates available is defined by the system setting STAFFTIME.OvertimeNumberOfRates. A Staff Time record may include paid hours that are either all at the Standard Rate, all at the Overtime rate(s), or a combination of the rates if the employee crosses any overtime threshold during the working period associated with the record. |
Hourly Rate | Any monetary value |
The Standard Hourly Rate for an Employee in Staff Time maintenance can be determined in three ways:
Note: This field can be edited to override the pay rate configured in the Rate Cards application, User or Work Area maintenance. |

The value in the Paid Hours field corresponds to the Net Paid Hours field on the main Staff Time tab of the record. Note: This field cannot be edited. |
