If you need to enhance security for one group of staff, set a PIN expiry on the Application Rights tab in Head office/Cinema manager > Maintenance > User Groups. 

For example, some cinemas require their managers to change their PIN every 90 days, while POS operators are not required to change their PIN.

Steps

1. Open the desired User Group.
2. Enter the value for PIN Expiry Period (Days).
3. Set the desired value for the system setting SECURITY.SecurityPasswordExpiryDays.
   

   Note: This value will be the default expiry period for all users that don't have a user group PIN expiry set.

Tip! You can also set POS to show a PIN expiry warning to supervisors when they are authorising actions. Configure the system setting POS-SECURITY.SecurityAuthWarningDays.
