The Staff time breakdown configuration tool in Cinema Manager > Maintenance lets managers set up how overtime is calculated.
Reporting time
Option | Allowed values | Description |

The reason an employee worked less than half of their scheduled shift, for example, Staff not needed. |
Maximum Paid Hours | 0-24 hours | The maximum number of hours that must be paid as Reporting Time to an employee who has worked less than half their scheduled shift. |
Minimum Paid Hours | 0-24 hours | The minimum number of hours that must be paid as Reporting Time to an employee who has worked less than half of their scheduled shift. |
Daily overtime

Number of Overtime Thresholds | 1-4 | The number of overtime thresholds you want to set for each type of overtime. If more than one threshold is required, each overtime threshold must be defined individually. An overtime threshold represents the point at which a new overtime rate comes into effect. |
Overtime Threshold 1 | 0-24 hours | The cumulative number of hours paid at the standard overtime rate, after which the first overtime rate applies. |
Overtime Threshold 2 | 0-24 hours | The cumulative number of hours paid at the first overtime rate, after which the second overtime rate applies. |
Overtime Threshold 3 | 0-24 hours | The cumulative number of hours paid at the second overtime rate, after which the third overtime rate applies. |

Consecutive day overtime

Number of Consecutive Days | 2-7 |
The number of consecutive days an employee has worked, at which point they become entitled to be paid at the Consecutive Day Overtime rate. For example, entering 7 means that employee who has already worked for six days in a row must be paid overtime when he is working on the seventh day. |

Selecting this option means the Consecutive Day Overtime rate applies to any Reporting Time paid to the employee on their defined consecutive day of work, overriding the Reporting Time rate. |
