Calculating an order surcharge before promotions/discounts are applied

Some promotions/discounts shouldn't be applied to order surcharges. For example, it may not be appropriate to apply large discounts to service charges. To exclude an order surcharge from a promotion/discount, use the Promotion/Discount form.

1. In Head Office or Cinema Manager, go to Maintenance > Promotions and Discounts.
2. Create a new promotion/discount, or open an existing one.
3. Under Exclude order surcharges, select the order surcharges you want to exclude from this promotion/discount.
4. Save.
