Setting up service areas for printer routing

A Service Area can be configured to redirect its items to another area.

The Redirect For Today Only option makes this method particularly useful for handling the temporary closure of a prepare area.

For example: If it is a very quiet day, the Second Kitchen might be closed for the rest of the day, and everything is redirected to the First Kitchen.

1. On Service Area maintenance, select a Redirect Area.
2. (Optional) select Redirect For Today Only.

   Note: This will override the redirect settings on Workstation maintenance.
