You may need to provide sign-in details for users who don't have a corporate email account (non-federated users). Configure unique plus addresses for these users to use when signing in to Vista Cloud.
Before you begin
Steps
- In Vista Cloud, go to Settings > Users.
- Click New user.
- Enter the user's details.
- Select Plus addressing.
- Choose an Email tag and Domain
Note: The plus addressing details combine to form a user's sign-in details: [email tag]+ [username]@[domain]. For example, user+firstname.lastname@staff.anycinema.com
Tip: The username is automatically generate from the user's profile details. However, this is editable.
- Save.
A one-time password automatically generates for the user. - Either Copy or Email the sign-in details and send these to the user.
Important! The one-time password expires after 36 hours. You can Generate a new one-time password at any time.
Once the user has signed in to Vista Cloud with these details, they're prompted to create a new password.
Important! If users with plus addresses need to reset their password, they should contact their administrator directly to generate a new one-time password, rather than using the Forgot password? link on the Vista Cloud homepage.
