You may need to configure plus addressing so that you can provide sign-in details for users who don't have a corporate email account (non-federated users). See Identity management for users without corporate email accounts.
Note: Plus addresses are constructed according to these rules: [email tag]+ [username]@[domain]. Configure a user's plus address when setting up their user profile.
- Go to Settings > Plus addressing.
- Add email tags to domains to match your corporate mailbox structure.
You can have multiple tags per domain.
Important! You need to use non-federated subdomains here for plus addresses to avoid SSO authentication pathways. For example, if your corporate email accounts are usually name@anycinema.com, then you could use something like name@staff.anycinema.com to manage plus addresses.
- Save.
These email tags and domains are now available to use when creating profiles for non-federated users.
