Manage staff details in Vista Cloud applications with the User form. Here, you can configure permissions, passwords, and contact details for staff members.
Find the form in Head Office, Vouchers & Gift Cards, or Connect by going to Maintenance > Users.
Note: User details in Cinema Manager aren't managed using this form, but on a webpage. Go to Cinema Manager > Users.

User Number |

A unique four number code to identify the User by. Once this has been saved for a user it cannot be edited. This code is employed by the user to log into POS and to authorise actions that require a security prompt if the user has the appropriate Security Level. |

If the checkbox is selected, the User will be able to log in to POS and Cinema Manager. If the checkbox is cleared, an error message will be displayed when the user attempts to log in. For example: Old staff that have left will have this field cleared. |

The language that is applied to the User. This determines whether the default or alternate language names and descriptions will be displayed. For example: International English, Latin American Spanish |

Security ID |

A code to identify the User by, when the 4-digit User Number is not sufficient. For example: If your organisation uses staff cards for purposes such as clocking on and off, it may be appropriate to configure the Security ID field with the barcode number of the user's staff card. Note: It is recommended that the user's Security ID and HO/Payroll Code on the Cinema tab be the same. |
