Creating sessions in Showtime Manager

Create film screening sessions for your circuit in Showtime Manager.

1. In Showtime Manager, use the film search bar to find a film to add to the schedule.
2. Drag and drop your chosen film from the search bar onto the canvas, on the appropriate row for your screen and column for your scheduled time.

   Tip: To add a film multiple times quickly, hold Ctrl as you select the film, and click to paste it onto the canvas.

3. Double-click on any session on the canvas to display its properties.
4. When you've finalised the properties of your session, set its status to Open.

The session is now available for sales at all sales channels you've allowed for it.

Tip: You may find it faster to finalise the properties for some or all sessions playing in the week and then click Open Sessions in the toolbar to open your selected sessions, or the whole week at once.

Note: It's a good idea to save at regular intervals when working with sessions, especially before opening them.
