Applying pricing rules in Showtime Manager

In Showtime Manager, you can apply pricing rules to a session in two ways.

Apply pricing rules to a new session

1. In Film Manager or Cinema Manager, go to Showtime Manager.
2. Click Session entry and add session details.

3. In the Price card menu, select Pricing rules.

   Note: All required session details must be filled in before you can edit the price card.

4. Add the session to the schedule.

Apply pricing rules to an existing session

1. In Film Manager or Cinema Manager, go to Showtime Manager.
2. Select the session in the schedule that you want to apply pricing rules to.

3. In the Session properties panel, open the Price card menu and select Pricing rules.

   Tip: To apply the same price card to multiple sessions at once, hold Shift, select the sessions you want, and then edit the price card.

If you have a session you don't want to apply pricing rules to, you can continue to select from one of your existing price cards.

Warning! If a ticket type isn’t included in a pricing rule, then the ticket type won’t be available to customers. You must create a rule for that ticket type or add it to an existing price card.
